Play Your Cards Right: Celebrating Black History
Hi, my name is Brianna Ford and I’m a studio apprentice at Baltimore Youth Arts. I made the Black Lives Matter cards because I wanted to show something different. The cards are called ‘Play Your Cards Right.’ I was inspired by the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s case. I had seen people protest all on the media and I realized that it wasn’t all violence and I wanted to make art based off the peaceful protests that were occurring.
