SAP in Spotlight: K'aree Lymon

Hello, My name is K’aree Lymon. I am 20 years old and I am not in school. I’ve been at BYA for 2 months. The classes I take at BYA are Graphic Design, Screen Printing, and Mind Your Own Business. In my classes, I am learning to graphic design and help build my brand. In Screen Printing, I am learning to make shirts, bags, and how to put my artwork on clothes. In Mind Your Own Business, I am learning how to build my business skills. My favorite part of the Studio Apprentice Program is working on my art work and my co-workers. I want to learn more about screen printing as time goes on.

My favorite project is my piece “Nova” This was for an album cover project. I chose to do Erykah Badu album “on and on”.

My business is a retail company that specializes in art, natural care, textile, and designs. My passion for being entrepreneur is wanting to have ownership of my own creativity, being able to build upon it and to build something that representative me.
