Summer Introductions Part I: Jocelyn Shan
Jocelyn is a senior studying psychology and public health at JHU. She is interested in adolescent mental health and creating spaces where young people feel seen and valued. Jocelyn loves art of all kinds, from weaving to playing guitar to writing, and believes in the unique ability of art to empower people of all ages. To her, art is a way for people to creatively express themselves and the process of creating something allows people to know themselves better.
She plans to stay in the city after college and do social psychology research and learn what a future in occupational therapy looks like, but who knows what will happen in a year!
