SAP Spotlight : Brianna Ford
Meet Brianna Ford, a 15 year old apprentice with a unique talent. Since the age of two, Brianna has been making art, but her current medium is using recycled materials! She makes paintings, purses, jewelry boxes, flower brooches and other things that can be reused.
Brianna states that her motivation comes from “family and friends, recycling, nature, everyday objects and creating things that make people happy”. Although her artwork is spectacular, Brianna’s future plans do not include art as a forefront but rather as a hobby. She is interested in furthering her education to become a midwife! “BYA has encouraged me to show my art, it has taught me different art methods, connected me with different artists, and made me love art even more”.
Brianna’s creativity goes beyond norm with her using Cigar boxes from her aunt and uncles shop, The Burnt Leaf Cigar. She uses rhinestones, flowers, paint, buttons, glitter to decorate the pursues. She mostly sells her bags by word of mouth or events.
