Using scanner bed on office printer, media team created self-portraits using objects and collage that represent themselves.
I am Not a Stereotype Project
From a conversation about stereotypes each one of us face day to day, Media Team wrote "I am _______" and " I am not _________" statements. As a team, we learned how to set-up a studio photoshoot with a light kit, camera, tripod and back drop. After taking portraits, the youth used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create posters declaring the statements.
Portraits with Papier-mâché objects
Using Papier-mâché method, Media Team created objects to accompany their self portraits using colored gel lighting to create special effects.
